There will be an online casting call for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie! Twentieth Century Fox is looking for a bright, precocious and appealing young actor, age 10-13, for the lead role of Greg Heffley.
So, if anyone has a younger brother, this may be their time to shine! Keep in mind, the filmmakers will be auditioning males, age 10-13 ONLY. The character of Greg Heffley is slight, physically unprepossessing, and not overly cute or precocious. He has a quirky, memorable face, is bright and articulate, and possesses a vivid fantasy life — but he is cursed by the fact that he’s in middle school. Auditioning actors must be able to handle dialog and have a flair for ironic comedy. (Think: a younger version of Michael Cera.)

Do you think Greg(Gregory) is a “wimpy kid”? I don’t think so.Basically, I’m just trying to say that the title is all WRONG. This Kinney guy doesn’t get it. And the CHEESE TOUCH?? Thats just childish. I think everybody was being a baby. They should’ve just REMOVED the cheese. Well, stay tune for some other of my ideas.
