Holiday Gifts for Teens

10 12 2009

The Daily Grommet Blog has compiled their own Gift Guide for Teens with some pretty interesting ideas on it. Here are some of my favorites:

Slacklining is the sport of walking a small, flat nylon rope between two points. It is practiced in the backyard, on college campuses and city parks, and even 3000 feet above the ground.” All I have to say is – sounds awesome.

Are you constantly dropping your phone, iPod or PDA? Then the OtterBox is for you. This little guy is designed to protect like nothing else – with rugged good looks to boot 🙂

This is probably my favorite thing on the whole list. I just love the idea of being able to make your own soda (or seltzer if that’s your thing). With SodaStream, you just use regular tap water, add some flavor and BAM! The little magic thingy adds the bubbles. Pretty cool.

So, what are you guys asking for this year, hmmmm?

Top Holiday Video Games 2007

11 12 2007

Guitar HeroI was reading an article about what video games parents should be on the lookout for if they want to be “cool” in the eyes of their teens this holiday season and I was wondering if any of you agreed…

The Top Five (not my opinion):

  1. Guitar Hero III
  2. Metroid Prime 3
  3. Rock Band (I heard this game was awesome, and if anyone offers to bring it to the library and let me play it – they would be a superhero)
  4. The Simpsons Game (d’oh!)
  5. Drake’s Fortune
