Money for good grades?

25 02 2009

I’m not totally sold on the idea of using money as an incentive for good grades. Academic success should be it’s own reward, right? Well, in a perfect world, yes. But sometimes, we all need that little extra motivation – a little push in the right direction… something to make us go for the gold. Okay, enough – you get what I’m trying to say.

GradeFund is a site developed by two brothers that matches up students and sponsors to reward you for good grades — with money! Basically, you invite your friends and family to sponsor you. Sponsors choose grade levels and amount of money (for example $5 for every A). Every semester you upload your transcript and money is collected and sent out. Pretty simple, right? This can begin in high school and continue on to help fund college.

Check it out and see what you can do to raise some money for your hard work and put it towards your future 🙂
