MTV’s VMA Winners in the Library!

10 09 2007

Well don’t get too excited. I don’t mean Justin Timberlake or Rihanna are walking through the door of Bowie Branch Library. But I do mean that you can find many of last night’s MTV Video Music Awards Winners and Nominees on CD in our collection. Britney Spears may have let us all down with her big “comeback” performance, but you won’t be disappointed with our music selection. And if you are, you have no one to blame but yourself. We don’t know what you’re looking for if you don’t tell us! So here’s a sampling of what you’ll find on our shelves:

  • akon Akon — Konvicted
  • Justin Justin Timberlake — FutureSex/LoveSounds (*Winner!)
  • Robin Robin Thicke — The Evolution of Robin Thicke
  • Rihanna Rihanna — Good Girl Gone Bad (*Winner!)

  • Maroon 5 Maroon 5 — It Won’t be Soon Before Long
  • Linkin Park Linkin Park — Minutes to Midnight
  • Fall Out Boy Fall Out Boy — Infinity on High (*Winner!)
  • Carrie Carrie Underwood — Some Hearts
  • Nelly Nelly Furtado — Loose
  • Beyonce Beyonce — B’day (*Winner!)
  • Amy Amy Winehouse — Back to Black

Check out our catalog or ask for help at the Information Desk if you’re looking for these or other CDs. AND if you want to suggest we buy a CD that you think we should have, drop us a line and let us know. Or better yet, join one of our Teen Advisory Boards and make your voice heard.
