For teens, by teens
Want to share your recommendations with the world (or at the very least, other teens in Prince George’s County)? Let me know what you think other teens should:
- read (books, graphic novels, authors, magazines)
- watch (movies or t.v. shows)
- click on (websites to visit, watch for, read, surf, etc.)
- listen to (music, bands, CDs, songs, albums)
I’ll post your answers so you can keep up with the trends!

I read this great book called Jude by Kate Morgenroth, which was AMAZING! The entire story had great point of view, an amazing plot, and edge-of-your-seat thrill and suspense. Morgenroth writes from the point of view of 16 year old Jude with a pathos-inciting talent, giving the reader the illusion that he is sitting right next to the character, feeling what he feels. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery and suspense, who enjoys a book written from the main character’s perspective, and who wants to read a book in which the protagonist wins, no matter how long it takes. Jude is a magnificently written book on life’s curveballs, redemption, holding tight to integrity when it is being questioned, knowing who to trust, and understanding just how far one would go clear his name.
Thanks for the tip and review, Chimaen. It was definitely a fun meeting!

i just finished Simon Says by Elaine Marie Alphin and then Prophet by Frank Perreti… both stunning reads.
Thanks, Chimaen. I just read ‘The Death of Jayson Porter’ by Jaime Adoff and ‘Newes From the Dead’ by Mary Hooper. Although very different, I would recommend both.
